What was your exercise regime before CrossFit?

I went to a globo gym and had a 6-day body building split. My favorite was German Volume Training because of the volume and the weight I was able to eventually move. I also had a deadlift coach and had planned to start training for a powerlifting competition. 
 

How many WODs per week do you attend?

Ideally 5-6 per week and I like to come in a second time or stay later to lift. My favorite is barbell club!

 

Favorite CrossFit exercise?

I absolutely love deadlifts, especially because I almost had to give them up. I also love power cleans and front squats.
 

Least favorite exercise?

My legs hate double unders. So many whip marks.
 

What would you tell a newbie getting started that helped you?

One of my favorite parts of crossfit and training in general is that it’s the only place I need to be at that moment. Get comfortable with the uncomfortable. It’s the only way you’ll grow as a person and as an athlete. Also, it helps if there are a few specific movements you absolutely love, that makes training more fun and you’ll get to see yourself progress over time. 
 

What would you like to accomplish in the next 3 months?

Perfect my set-up and technique on squat/bench/deadlift for my competition in May; master double unders; work on my snatch and clean & jerk technique so I can start lifting heavier. 
 
What is a fun fact about you?
Before strength training became my thing I was a pretty good marksman. I passed the Port Authority Police Department handgun qualifications test when I was 14 and became a NRA distinguished expert in smallbore rifle at 17. I was also on the NCAA championship rifle team at WVU in 2009.

What was your exercise regime before CrossFit?

 

I kind of lost my way the last couple of years trying to find an exercise regime that got me excited and motivated go to the gym. I just went to the gym ran and lifted weights because I had to, not because I wanted to. The result of that i gained 30 pds over 3 yrs lmao.

 

 
How many WODs per week do you attend?

 

I try to attend atleast 4 wods a week 

 

 

 

Favorite CrossFit exercise?
My favorite cf excercise is the clean

 

 
Least favorite exercise?

 

Least favorite is the box jump (hate them)

 

 
What would you tell a newbie getting started that helped you?

 

I would tell a newbie to be patient and stay motivated have  goals and try your hardest to reach them. Some goals will take longer to reach but when you reach them dont be satisfied keep going stay hungry.

 

 
What would you like to accomplish in the next 3 months?

 

What i would like to accomplish in 3 months is beat Marek in squats lol jk (not really) get a damn ring muscle up oh yeah be able to snatch my body weight.

 

 
What is a fun fact about you?

 

Fun fact about me is I like Justin Bieber's new album seriously im not kidding and i love singing when im alone
